Dr. Tobias Keitel

Dr. Tobias Keitel has been Chief Technology Officer of RWE Offshore Wind GmbH since September 2025. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2025, he served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Voith Hydro and was also a member of the Voith Group’s Executive Board.

His long-standing career at Voith Hydro began in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Project Director in the “Large Hydro” division. He then took over as Managing Director of Voith Ocean Energies from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he headed the “Large Hydro” business unit before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Voith Hydro in 2016. He held this position until 2022.

Before joining Voith, Dr. Keitel was responsible for corporate strategy and M&A at MAN AG Ferrostaal from 2007 to 2011. He began his professional career from 2004 to 2007 as an associate and consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

Dr. Tobias Keitel studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and earned his Diplom degree in 2003. At the same time, from 2002 to 2003, he earned a master’s degree in General Management with a focus on finance at the École Supérieure de Commerce Paris. From 2006 to 2007, he completed his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin.
