Heiko Mützelburg

Heiko Mützelburg has many years of experience in auditing, controlling and corporate management, particularly in the offshore wind industry.

After graduating from high school and studying economics, he began his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the auditing department at various locations in Germany. He then moved to controlling at General Electric in Düsseldorf before taking on another controlling position at a subsidiary of CVC Capital Partners in Essen.

Mützelburg has been working in the offshore wind industry since 2009. From 2010 to 2022, he was Managing Director of EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH in Rostock. During this time, he oversaw the successful implementation of over 40 offshore wind projects and the production of more than 2,500 foundations at the Rostock site. From 2015 to 2021, he was also Chairman of the Offshore Structures Britain joint venture in Teesside (UK), where several hundred transition pieces were manufactured for the offshore market.

After holding management positions at SIF and BSC from 2022 to 2024, Heiko Mützelburg took over the management of Titan Wind Energy (Germany) GmbH. In this role, he is responsible for developing the company’s site in Cuxhaven with the aim of providing foundations for the offshore market from the end of 2026.

He holds an MBA from the University of Wales and an LL.M. from the German Graduate School of Management and is also a trained business mediator.
