Horatio Evers

Horatio Evers has more than two decades of leadership experience in the international energy industry and has been CEO of Ming Yang Europe since 2025.
He is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and leading all European activities, including expanding Ming Yang’s presence in Europe, driving investment and growth priorities, and building partnerships with customers, governments and industry players to support long-term market development.
Prior to joining Ming Yang, Horatio Evers held executive positions at BASF, one of the world’s largest chemical companies, including leading its global energy business. In this capacity, he set the strategic direction for BASF’s worldwide energy portfolio and drove major investment and growth initiatives across Europe, Asia, and North America. He also played a key role in establishing and scaling BASF’s renewable energy subsidiary, serving as its Managing Director.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior management roles in China, Singapore, Switzerland, and Germany, gaining broad experience across multiple segments of the energy sector.
Horatio Evers studied Business Administration in Hamburg; he is married and has two adult children.
