Tania Moreira

Tania Moreira is currently the Senior Vice President of Technical and Innovation for Global Offshore Wind at Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company. She has been active in the renewable energy sector since 2008 and joined Masdar in October 2023, following a relocation from the Asia Pacific region where she held various senior roles in advancing the renewables industry in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, and Australia.
With over two decades of experience, Ms. Moreira has successfully led teams through complex major projects, emphasizing the development of new technologies, project management for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, technical advisory services, and business development initiatives across South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Ms. Moreira earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (UNESP) in 2001 and received her Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK in 2011. She has actively participated in multiple Joint Industry Projects, Steering Committees, and Women in Leadership Mentorship programs. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for various offshore wind farms.
