Born in 1962 and a Dutch National. Nils earned a Master’s Degree in Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After 19 years at Ericsson he joined Vestas in 2015 as President of Region Northern & Central Europe. The region with its Headquarters based in Hamburg, Germany is responsible for sales, marketing, installation and operation of wind power plants both onshore and offshore. The region is the largest in Vestas covering Germany, Benelux, Austria, the Nordics, UK, Ireland, the Baltics and Eastern Europe.
This year, for the first time in the Economic Forum Offshore Wind history, we will leave the North Sea island of Helgoland and come together on the island of Rügen, in Binz, from 31st August to 1st September 2023.
