Magnus Brogaard Larsen

Joined CIP in 2021 as Associate Partner and is responsible for CIP’s Offshore Wind Market and Early-stage Project Development. Mr. Larsen has worked more than 15 years within Renewable Energy Industry Business – and Market Development, responsible for a range of Development Partnerships and Greenfield investments globally – since 2014, with a primary focus on Offshore Wind.

Mr. Larsen started his career in DONG Energy in 2007 as a Business Graduate within energy trading, portfolio management and strategy, and subsequently held a range of management positions during the green transformation and IPO of the company becoming Ørsted in 2015. From 2012-15, Mr. Larsen was based in London, responsible for down/mid-stream market entry and later responsible Ørsted’s Offshore Wind Commercial Management function. From 2015, Mr. Larsen assumed responsibility for Ørsted’s Commercial and Market Development department, developing and securing a range of new market entries, greenfield projects, and development partnerships, instrumental to Ørsted’s rapid growth as a leading global Offshore Wind developer. Mr. Larsen has a Master of Science in Finance & Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
