Jörg Singer

The best times of my life I spent on Helgoland. Born in Konstanz in 1966, graduated from James-Krüss-School on Helgoland migrated back to the mainland. After a technical apprenticeship and a master in business engineering, I worked for Lufthansa Systems, among others. With e toolbox full of experiences and skills I founding and managed my own companies around millennium. Perfect Day GmbH received the award for the most innovative consulting company in Schleswig-Holstein at CEBIT. The election as mayor in 2010 brought me back to my island. The two terms in the town hall office were marked by securing the future of the transport link, strengthening the financial situation, the realignment of tourism, the settlement of offshore wind and the building of affordable housing. Sustainable change has always been close to my heart in all my projects. In 2020, I co-founded Aquaventus on Helgoland and, as 1^st chairman, my ambition is to promote ramping-up the green hydrogen age at sea. In addition, I accompany organizations in making investment decisions towards a climate-neutral future. And I am privileged of co-organizing and moderating word class conferences. With my Spouse, born on Helgoland, we live close to the lighthouse, my favorite place is the North Shore on the Dune.
