Philippe Kavafyan

Philippe has been Chief Executive Officer of Venterra Group Plc since October 2023. Prior to that, he held leading positions at Aker Horizons in Norway. From 2018 to 2020, he was Chief Executive Officer of MHI Vestas Offshore Wind in Denmark. His career spans the development of the energy sector over the last three decades, including 20 years in the wind industry. He has held management positions at major turbine manufacturers that have pioneered the energy transition in the field of onshore and offshore wind power. These include General Electric, Areva and MHI Vestas Offshore Wind. He has also represented the industry in leading specialist bodies, in particular as Chairman of WindEurope. Philippe is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines in Paris, France.
