Prof. Dr. Martin Skiba

The mechanical engineer with a doctorate in engineering has been working exclusively as an independent consultant in the growing offshore wind market since 2014. Currently, he is also a board member of BWO e.V. and the Offshore Wind Energy Foundation as well as founder and vice-chairman of the World Forum Offshore Wind, member of the supervisory board of 8.2 Consulting AG, honorary professor at Leibniz University Hannover and lecturer at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Between 2008 and 2013, he was responsible for the development, construction and operation of all offshore wind power plants at RWE Innogy GmbH. Prior to that, he built up the offshore wind energy division at REpower Systems AG between 2001 and 2008.
