Martin Volker Gerhardt

Martin Volker Gerhardt has been Head of Offshore Product and Portfolio Management since 2017 and Managing Director of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH & Co. KG in Germany since 2022.

He has many years of experience in offshore wind and energy, including as Head of Strategy for Siemens Wind Power (2014-2017), Head of Offshore in APAC (2012-2014), and as a management consultant for Siemens Management Consulting in China (2009-2012) and A.T. Kearney.

Martin sees climate change as the greatest threat to humanity and believes that offshore wind will play a key role in moving toward a decarbonized energy balance and economy.
